Conk’s progress continues, and there is a chance that she’ll be released tomorrow. She certainly hopes to get out, but she may have to wait until Thursday. We’ve gotten no sense of how and when the decision will be made. She does have a long ride home, so that may be a consideration.
In the meantime, she gets stronger by the hour. She has her phone now, but only to listen to podcasts during the night (she says.)

Yaaaaaaaaaaaay! Yaaaaaaaaaaaay! Yaaaaaaaaaaaay! Phenomenal, terrific, wonderful, yipppeee, hooray, hoorah, groovy, far out, incredible, dynamite, and totally GREAT, be it tomorrow or Thursday. So thrilled to hear that each day has brought the elimination of tubes, IVs, monitors and other medical paraphernalia. It has all sounded logical and routine; all is good. So happy her body is healing and handling recovery like a warrior.
Tomorrow is only 1 week since her surgery and would be incredible if she was discharged. Staying an additional day is more conservative and allows another day for her to have nurses monitor, assess and care for her.
God has been so faithful- thanks Father God ❤️

Bullfeathers! She’s probably using her phone to set up mini-reunions and make more travel reservations! Can’t keep a good girl down! Give Kathy our best, and watch out for potholes on the NJ Turnpike heading home!

the woman *does* lover her podcasts! SO, now I know you all will be home Thrs. night. I hope the right is comfortable for her (I can’t imagine!) and she’ll be so happy to be in her own bed. What a journey you all have been on. Sending love and good thoughts to all of you. GO, TEAM!
