  1. Are you kidding about the bartender’s name? Good to have a sense of humor at a time like this. Also good to be in an Irish bar.

  2. She will appreciate the info when she wakes up.
Dorcas (whose full name is Margaret Dorcas, mighty close to Marguerite or Daisy…)

  3. Praise the Lord, Peg, and pass the daisies! Is it beer you’re sipping or something a bit more potent? I woke up at 6a thinking about her surgery, and feel like she’s been waiting for days!

    1. Paula – I tried to reply earlier but not sure it went through – WiFi is spotty here tonight – forgive me if this is a repeat. Beer did the trick at lunch but looking forward to something stronger later. There has been so much waiting but Conk has been a real trooper! 7:20 here now so should hear something soon

  4. What an anti-climactic delay. Poor Conk! But what a terrific team you two are! I know she realizes how lucky she is to have you both by her side. I LOVE that the Daisy thing continues unabated while she’s “under the knife!” If only she could know about your bartender being called Daisy! Bottoms up in the Irish bar, ladies! You’ve certainly earned your libation! Thanks so much for all you’ve done, are doing, g will continue to do for Conk. She’s one helluva lucky unlucky patient! Be sure to take care of yourselves!
